Vegetables “à Brás”

Hello beautiful people! This time I bring a typical, but veganized dish – Bacalhau à Brás. Bacalhau à Brás is a typical portuguese dish with cod, eggs and french fries. This is an easy recipe that has delighted the “meat-eaters”! Keep reading 🙂

You will need (serves 4): 

  • 1 medium heart cabbage;
  • 2 onions;
  • 3 garlic cloves;
  • 3 carrots;
  • 400 grams of potato sticks;
  • 1 leek;
  • parsley;
  • salt;
  • pepper;
  • olive oil.

Let’s start!

Cut the cabbage into strips and place in hot water with salt. Drain the water. Cut the onions and the cloves of garlic into small pieces and sauté in olive oil. Cut the leek and the carrot into thin strips and add to the sauteed. Add also the cabbage.

While cooking, season with salt and pepper. Add the potato sticks and mix well. Once everything is cooked, place the parsley on top and serve. It is ready! 🙂
