Scrambled tofu with spices

Another invention of my mother! The look may not be the best but believe me the taste of this tofu is divine! Let’s try it? Keep reading 🙂

You will need (serves 4): 

  • 400 grams of tofu;
  • 2 tablespoons of brewer’s yeast;
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric + black pepper;
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika;
  • 1/2 lemon juice;
  • chopped fresh parsley.

The original recipe also had soy sauce, but beware because it has gluten!

Let’s start!

With your hands crumble the tofu and season it with the spices, lemon juice, salt and brewer’s yeast. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

Sauté in the pan with olive oil and let it roast for a few minutes until golden.

Before serving put the chopped parsley and it’s done!
