This was one of the best discoveries I’ve made regarding vegan burgers! I found this recipe in Rodrigo Figueiredo‘s instagram and as soon as I tried … It’s to repeat!
Although I already have a recipe for vegan burgers, this is completely different and, in my opinion, more complete and that will please more people ♡ Let’s try?
Time needed: 45 minutes
You will need (serves 4 people):
- 800 grams of cooked chickpeas;
- 1 onion;
- 3 garlic cloves;
- fresh coriander;
- 1/2 lemon juice;
- 6 tablespoons of gluten free oat;
- 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed;
- pepper, cumin, salt, paprika and saffron.
Start by preheating your oven to 200ºC.
Grind the grain until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Chop the onion, garlic cloves and coriander, and add to the paste.
Grate the carrot and add to the mixture.
Add the oats and the ground flaxseed, season with the indicated spices and the lemon juice. Stir well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
With your hands, mold the mixture and place in a tray lined with parchment paper. Take them to the oven until they are golden and crunchy on the outside (about 30 minutes).
