Another spectacular and quick recipe: Cabbage and bean “crumbs”! It was my dinner and we loved it ♡ Vegan and gluten free, of course! 🙂
There comes a time when we are eating almost the same. Whether it’s vegetarian or omnivorous, we should try new dishes and flavors and that’s what happened. I love cabbage! Do you want some recipes using cabbage? You can do Brás style vegetables or some Cabbage rolls. This recipe is from Gabriela Oliveira, it has cabbage and I had to share ♡
Time needed: 20 minutes
You will need:
- 2 cups of cooked beans ( I used black eyed peas);
- 300 grams of cabbage;
- 4 garlic cloves;
- 1 cup of corn semolina;
- 1/2 cup of water;
- black pepper;
- olive oil.
Cut the cabbage into strips (julienne) and chop the garlic cloves.
Sauté the cabbage and garlic in a frying pan with a little bit of olive oil (5 minutes). Add the corn semolina and stir until golden. Mix the water and the beans and season with salt, saffron, oregano and pepper. Mix well.
Cook until the semolina is crispy. Once it is done place a little bit of olive oil.
Crumbs are ready! ♡
Tip: You can put olives, parsley, coriander or chives.
