Bean “meatballs”

One more experience in the kitchen that went well! Everyone liked it, the taste was great and not difficult! If it were I wouldn’t try ahaha. Let’s go?

Execution time: 45 minutes

You will need (serves 4 people):

  • 400 grams of cooked beans (I used butter beans);
  • 2-3 garlic cloves;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 bunch of chopped parsley;
  • cumin powder;
  • 30 grams of oatmeal flour;
  • 300 grams of tomato sauce;
  • olive oil;
  • rice flour (for the hands);
  • salt;
  • pepper.

Let’s start!

Grind the beans until a smooth paste. Put this paste in a bowl and add the parsley, onion and garlic (everything chopped). Mix well. Season with cumin, salt and pepper. Now add the oatmeal flour. Mix well until blended.

Grease the baking recipe with olive oil and preheat your oven to 180 ° C.

Now comes the hardest part: shaping the meatballs. So that the mixture does not stick in your hands, put flour in them before shaping the meatballs. Problem solved! 🙂 I used the rice flour, but you can use any.

Put the meatballs in the baking dish and let it cook for 15 minutes. The goal is that they are crisp on the outside.

Meanwhile cook the tomato sauce aside and season it with salt and pepper. If you like, you can add oregano.

For garnish you can make spaghetti of cucumber or courgette, or gluten-free pasta like that of the photograph that is corn pasta 🙂

Once the meatballs are ready, just pu the tomato sauce on them and they’re ready!

Enjoy, I hope you liked it 🙂
