This should be the most basic recipe you can find here on the blog, but it is so good and easy that I thought it should be shared. Let’s try it? 🌿
As usual, in the weekend, we like to try a new vegan restaurant/bar and this time we ended up eating a sandwich with avocado, mayonnaise and nori seaweed, among other ingredients. It was really delicious and, honestly, we did not expect that combination to work so well.
At home and as I have bought gluten free wraps, we decided to recreate that wonderful combination! It was really good, I even shared it on Instagram ♡
So if you want to recreate these wonderful wraps you will only need:
- Nori seaweed (mine was dehydrated and into bits; the amount was not measured);
- Wraps (gluten free);
- 1 avocado (I used one half for each wrap);
- Vegan mayonnaise.
If your algae are dehydrated, put them in water for about 10/15 minutes. In the meantime, place the wrap on a plate. Peel the avocado and cut one half into the slices, distributing them as in the image. Now distribute the mayonnaise in the middle of the wrap, over the avocado slices. Finally, place the algae along the center line, above the mayonnaise.
If you want even more flavor, put some paprika and lemon juice on top, it’s divine!
