Hi, I’m Sara, I’m 24 years old and in the summer of 2016 I was (finally!) diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I am lactose intolerant and I have Joint Hypermobility Syndrome. As traditional medicine failed to help me with all the symptoms of fibromyalgia, I turned to Quantum Medicine associated with a careful diet.
Removing gluten, sugar and meat (cow, pork, chicken, etc.) and with the proper supplements (for the muscular issues) I started to gain life’s quality. I started to gain energy again, but it was not yet “perfect.”
As I am a biologist, I have always been concerned about the animal suffering and environmental consequences of the animal industry. I started by removing yogurts and cheese, but I still did not feel ok with myself. Then, I removed any kind of meat, relying solely on vegetables, legumes, fruits and biological eggs from my grandparents.
In August of 2017, I decided to opt for a restricted vegetarian diet and to become vegan 🙂
I’m still new at this, but I like to go experimenting and photographing to show that, no, vegetarians and vegans do not go hungry and don’t eat only salad!
